Bendroflumethiazide, Nadolol brand name: Corzide.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
DIURETIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Bendroflumethiazide, Nadolol
Bendroflumethiazide, Nadolol falls under DIURETIC DRUGS — the group Calotropis interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Corzide is a combination pill: bendroflumethiazide is a thiazide-type water pill, and nadolol is a beta-blocker. The piece that matters here is the thiazide, because it can lower your body's potassium level over time. Calotropis naturally contains cardiac glycosides (heart-acting compounds similar in spirit to digoxin), and when potassium runs low, those glycosides can hit the heart harder.
So the theoretical concern is this: a low-potassium state from your diuretic could make any calotropis you take more toxic to the heart, raising the risk of an irregular or unsafe heartbeat. This is based on pharmacology rather than real patient reports, so it's a caution, not a proven danger. Honestly, the bigger issue is that calotropis can be poisonous on its own. Please don't take it internally, and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Calotropis is a milkweed-family plant long used in traditional medicine, but its milky latex and other parts are potentially toxic and can harm the eyes, skin, and heart.
