Budesonide, Formoterol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, cannabinol might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
In vitro research shows that cannabinol potently inhibits CYP2C9 enzymes. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with Symbicort (budesonide plus formoterol) and CBN. Lab studies suggest CBN can block an enzyme called CYP2C9, which helps clear certain medicines from your body. If that enzyme slows down, a drug it handles can build up a bit and act stronger. For Symbicort, that could mean a touch more of the usual side effects, like a fast or pounding heartbeat, shaky hands, a headache, or feeling jittery from the formoterol part.

That said, this is only a theoretical concern seen in a test tube, never actually reported in people, and budesonide is mostly handled by a different enzyme anyway. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding CBN.
