Ethinyl Estradiol, Norgestrel falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inhibitors might increase the levels and clinical effects of cannabinol.
In vitro research shows that CYP3A4 enzymes are involved in the 8-hydroxylation of cannabinol. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the key thing to understand: in this pairing, your birth control pill (ethinyl estradiol with norgestrel) is acting on the CBN, not the other way around. The estrogen part of your pill mildly blocks an enzyme called CYP3A4, and lab studies suggest that same enzyme helps break down CBN. So in theory, your pill could slow CBN's breakdown and let it build up a bit, which might mean more of CBN's effects like drowsiness or grogginess.

This is theoretical only, based on test-tube research, and has never actually been reported in people. Your contraceptive's effectiveness isn't expected to change. Still, since CBN products vary a lot in quality and dose, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially given the sleepiness factor.
