Interferon Alfacon-1 falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorella interacts with.

Theoretically, chlorella might have additive effects with photosensitizing drugs.
Chlorella has been reported to cause photosensitization. In five case reports, patients who had ingested chlorella exhibited swelling followed by erythematopurpuric lesions on sun-exposed areas of the body. Theoretically, concomitant use with photosensitizing drugs may exacerbate effects.

Here's the simple version: both chlorella and Infergen can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Interferon alfacon-1 can already cause rashes, redness, and a touch more sun sensitivity in some people. Chlorella has been linked, in a handful of case reports, to swelling and reddish-purple spots on areas exposed to the sun. Put them together and the worry is that these skin effects could stack up.

I want to be honest about the strength of this one: it's theoretical, based on how these things behave rather than solid studies. For most folks it won't be a big deal. Still, it's smart to use sunscreen, cover up outdoors, and let your doctor or pharmacist know you're taking chlorella before changing anything.
