Benazepril, Hydrochlorothiazide falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorophyll interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyll with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. In two case reports, pseudoporphyria developed after oral intake of chlorophyll. Theoretically, concomitant use with other photosensitizing drugs may exacerbate this effect.

Here's the thing to know about this combo: the concern isn't about how your body breaks down Lotensin HCT or how well it controls your blood pressure. It's about your skin. The hydrochlorothiazide part of this pill is a known photosensitizer, meaning it can make you sunburn more easily. Chlorophyll has also been linked, in a couple of case reports, to skin sensitivity. Put them together and you may, in theory, get a little extra sun reaction.

This is mostly a theoretical, low-evidence concern, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Just be smart in the sun: wear sunscreen, a hat, and watch for any rash or unusual burning. If you notice that, or you're unsure about your chlorophyll supplement, check in with your pharmacist or doctor.
