Here's the simple version: phenoxybenzamine already lowers your blood pressure by blocking the signals that tighten your blood vessels. CoQ10 may nudge blood pressure down a little on its own, so taking the two together could add up and drop your pressure more than expected.

With phenoxybenzamine, the main thing to watch for is feeling lightheaded or dizzy, especially when you stand up quickly (this drug is well known for that). A racing heartbeat or stuffy nose can also happen. The good news is that this is rated a minor interaction, and the blood-pressure research on CoQ10 is mixed and not strong. Most people do fine, but since you're being treated for pheochromocytoma, please check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding CoQ10 so they can keep an eye on your readings.

Phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride capsules are used to treat pheochromocytoma — a rare tumor of the adrenal gland that releases large bursts of stress hormones, causing dangerous spikes in blood pressure and heavy sweating. The capsules help keep those episodes under control.

If the heart rate becomes too fast during treatment, a doctor may also prescribe a beta-blocker alongside phenoxybenzamine.
