Phenoxybenzamine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Adrafinil interacts with.

Theoretically, adrafinil might reduce the effects of antihypertensive drugs.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to increase diastolic and systolic blood pressure. Retrospective analyses show that patients taking modafinil had a small but increased rate of requiring new antihypertensive drugs or increased use of antihypertensive drugs when compared with placebo.

Here's the simple version: your body turns adrafinil into modafinil, a wakefulness drug that can nudge your blood pressure up a bit. Phenoxybenzamine works in the opposite direction, it relaxes blood vessels to bring high blood pressure down, especially the surges caused by a pheochromocytoma. So in theory, adrafinil could work against your phenoxybenzamine and make it a little less effective.

I want to be honest about the strength of this one. It is theoretical, based on how these drugs behave rather than solid studies in people taking them together, and any effect is likely small. Still, because pheochromocytoma blood pressure control really matters, please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before adding adrafinil rather than changing anything on your own.

Phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride capsules are used to treat pheochromocytoma — a rare tumor of the adrenal gland that releases large bursts of stress hormones, causing dangerous spikes in blood pressure and heavy sweating. The capsules help keep those episodes under control.

If the heart rate becomes too fast during treatment, a doctor may also prescribe a beta-blocker alongside phenoxybenzamine.
