Chlorpheniramine, Methscopolamine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Goldthread interacts with.

There's very preliminary evidence that berberine, a constituent of goldthread, might inhibit cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) enzyme. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for an increase in the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 in patients taking goldthread. Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), clarithromycin (Biaxin), indinavir (Crixivan), sildenafil (Viagra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others. Use goldthread cautiously or avoid in patients taking these drugs.

Here's the gist with Allerx (chlorpheniramine plus methscopolamine) and goldthread. The berberine in goldthread may gently slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which is one of the pathways that helps clear chlorpheniramine. If that pathway slows, a little more of the antihistamine could hang around, possibly nudging up the usual side effects: drowsiness, dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, or trouble urinating. The methscopolamine part already causes those drying effects, so you'd just want to be aware.

That said, this is very preliminary, based on lab pharmacology, not real cases in people. Food-level bitters aren't the concern; concentrated berberine supplements are. If you take both, just check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.
