Goldthread + Ciclesonide
Ciclesonide brand names: Omnaris, Alvesco, Zetonna.
Goldthread has a moderate interaction with Ciclesonide. There's very preliminary evidence that berberine, a constituent of goldthread, might inhibit cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) enzyme.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Ciclesonide
Ciclesonide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Goldthread interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for your inhaled ciclesonide (Alvesco, Omnaris, Zetonna). After it enters the body, ciclesonide gets activated and then broken down by an enzyme called CYP3A4. Goldthread contains berberine, which lab work hints may slow that same enzyme down. In theory, that could let a bit more active steroid hang around than usual.
Honestly though, this is very early, theory-only evidence and hasn't actually been seen in people. With an inhaler the dose reaching your bloodstream is small, so a big problem is unlikely. If you used goldthread heavily and long-term, the things to watch for would be typical steroid effects like a sore or white-coated mouth, hoarseness, or higher blood sugar. Before combining them, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ciclesonide page
“Ciclesonide (Alvesco, Omnaris, Zetonna) is a corticosteroid for asthma and nasal allergies, and even though it is inhaled rather than swallowed, its supplement list warrants genuine care. The body clears it through the CYP3A4 enzyme, and 121 of the 166 ingredients on file nudge that pathway one way or the other.”
