Butabarbital is a barbiturate that calms your central nervous system, so it's used as a sedative and to help with sleep. The concern here is fairly simple: in an animal study, guarumo extract also calmed the nervous system, causing things like wobbly movement and muscle relaxation. So putting the two together could, in theory, add up to more sedation than you bargained for.

That might look like extra drowsiness, dizziness, slowed breathing, poor coordination, or feeling groggy and foggy the next day. I want to be honest with you though: this is based on animal and lab data only (not human studies), so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Before combining them, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
