Some early laboratory and small human studies suggest it may modestly affect blood sugar, but the evidence is limited and not strong enough to recommend it as a treatment. Brand name: Kesimpta

Kesimpta is used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults. This includes clinically isolated syndrome (a first MS episode), relapsing-remitting MS (the most common form, with flares followed by recovery periods), and active secondary progressive MS (when the disease slowly worsens but still has active flares).

It is designed to reduce relapses and slow disease activity by targeting certain immune cells believed to drive MS damage.
