Hemp Agrimony + Desmopressin Acetate
Desmopressin Acetate brand names: DDAVP, Noctiva, Nocdurna.
We found no known interaction between Hemp Agrimony and Desmopressin Acetate in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Hemp Agrimony and Desmopressin Acetate
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Desmopressin Acetate and Hemp Agrimony in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Why No Interaction Is Listed for Desmopressin Acetate
Interactions in our licensed database are recorded against drug classes, not just single drug names. Desmopressin Acetate is filed under a single classification — oral drugs. Hemp Agrimony has documented interactions with 2 drug classes — the most serious being cytochrome p450 3a4 (cyp3a4) inducers (moderate) and hepatotoxic drugs (moderate) — and none of Desmopressin Acetate’s classifications are among them.
Classification data comes from our licensed Natural Medicines dataset. A medication can belong to classes beyond those recorded there, so this describes how the check was run — it is not a safety guarantee.
Hemp Agrimony Does Interact With Other Medications
Hemp Agrimony has 440 moderate known drug interactions in our database — Desmopressin Acetate isn’t one of them. If you take anything else, check it against the full list below.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Desmopressin Acetate page
“Every one of the 17 supplements flagged for desmopressin acetate (DDAVP, Nocdurna, Noctiva) works the same basic way, by changing how much of the drug is absorbed from the gut, and that deserves real attention. About Hemp Agrimony
What is Hemp Agrimony?
- Digestive complaints
- Cold and flu symptoms
- Respiratory conditions
- Mild fever
- Traditional 'tonic' or detox use
Hemp agrimony is a traditional European herb that has been used for digestion, colds, and as a general tonic, but there is very little reliable human research to support these uses. More importantly, the plant can contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids that may harm the liver, so most experts do not recommend taking it internally. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using any product that contains hemp agrimony.
Eupatorium cannabinum · Asteraceae · Aerial parts (leaves, flowers, stems) and roots · Tea, tincture, dried herb, liquid extract
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Hemp Agrimony is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Hemp Agrimony record says about it on its own.
Hemp Agrimony: dosing
There is no established safe or standardized dose for hemp agrimony. Because of concerns about liver-toxic compounds, most reliable sources do not recommend taking it internally at all.If a product containing hemp agrimony is available, do not assume any amount is proven safe. When possible, choose better-studied alternatives for whatever condition you are trying to treat.

About Desmopressin
What Is Desmopressin Used For?
Brand names: DDAVP, Noctiva, Nocdurna
Desmopressin is used for central diabetes insipidus, a condition where the body doesn't make enough antidiuretic hormone and produces too much urine. It also treats the temporary extreme thirst and urination that can follow head trauma or pituitary surgery (tablets and injection).
Some products are used for bleeding disorders. Desmopressin injection and Stimate nasal spray are used for mild-to-moderate hemophilia A and von Willebrand’s disease (Type I). Desmopressin and Ddavp tablets are also used for primary nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting). It does not work for nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, where the kidneys don't respond to the hormone.
