Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes by 21%. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the short version for anyone on Orgovyx (relugolix) who's eyeing a pre-workout or weight-loss product with higenamine. Relugolix is partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In a lab dish, higenamine slowed that enzyme by about 21%. If that held true in people, your body might clear relugolix a little more slowly, nudging its levels up. With relugolix that could mean more of its usual effects, like fatigue, hot flashes, joint pain, or changes in blood pressure.

But honestly, this is theoretical. It comes from test-tube work only and hasn't been shown in actual patients. The bigger concern is higenamine itself, which can rev up your heart rate and blood pressure. I'd run it by your oncology team or pharmacist before combining them.
