Dextromethorphan, Pseudoephedrine, Triprolidine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Hops interacts with.

Theoretically, hops extract might alter metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates; however, this effect may not be clinically significant.
Animal research suggests that specific constituents of hops, called lupulones, can induce hepatic CYP3A4 enzyme activity. However, a pharmacokinetic study in healthy postmenopausal patients with normal metabolism shows that taking a standardized extract of spent hops containing prenylated phenols, as 59.5 mg twice daily for 2 weeks, decreases the concentration of alprazolam, a CYP3A4 probe substrate, by 7.6%. This reduction is unlikely to be clinically relevant.

You're asking about combining hops with Actifed DM, which blends dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant), pseudoephedrine (a decongestant), and triprolidine (an antihistamine). The concern on file is purely theoretical: lab and animal studies hint that compounds in hops called lupulones might slightly speed up the CYP3A4 enzyme, which helps break down dextromethorphan. In theory that could lower its levels a touch and make it a bit less effective for coughs. But in a real human study, hops nudged a similar drug's level down by less than 8 percent, which isn't enough to matter.

The more practical issue is overlap in drowsiness. Hops can make you sleepy, and so can triprolidine, so together you may feel extra groggy. If you're unsure, your pharmacist can quickly confirm it's fine for you.
