Here's the thing about clevidipine (Cleviprex): it's a fast-acting IV blood pressure medicine, usually given in a hospital when doctors need tight control over your numbers. It relaxes blood vessels to bring high blood pressure down quickly.

Horny goat weed has shown some blood-pressure-lowering activity, but only in lab and animal studies, not in people. So in theory, pairing it with clevidipine could nudge your pressure a little too low, leaving you dizzy, lightheaded, or flushed. In practice, though, clevidipine is given in a closely monitored setting where staff watch your pressure constantly, so a big surprise is unlikely. Still, it's worth mentioning any supplements you take to your care team so nothing is missed.
