IP-6 (inositol hexaphosphate, also called phytic acid or phytate) is a natural compound found in high-fiber plant foods and sold as a supplement, often paired with inositol. It is most studied as an antioxidant and mineral binder, but human evidence for its popular uses—such as cancer prevention—is limited and not conclusive. About Rilonacept Injection

What Is Rilonacept Injection Used For?

Brand name: Arcalyst

Arcalyst (rilonacept) is approved to treat Cryopyrin-Associated Periodic Syndromes (CAPS) — including Familial Cold Autoinflammatory Syndrome (FCAS) and Muckle-Wells Syndrome (MWS) — in adults and children 12 and older. It is also used to maintain remission of Deficiency of Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist (DIRA) in adults and children weighing at least 10 kg (about 22 lbs).

Arcalyst is also approved to treat recurrent pericarditis (repeated episodes of inflammation around the heart) and to lower the risk of it coming back, in adults and children 12 and older.
