Enoxaparin falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Ip-6 interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of IP-6 with drugs that affect platelet aggregation may increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro IP-6 can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been demonstrated in humans.

Here's the short version: enoxaparin (Lovenox) is already a blood thinner you inject to stop clots from forming. IP-6 has shown, in test-tube studies only, that it can slow platelets (the cells that help blood clump together). If both nudge your blood toward thinner, the worry is a little extra bleeding risk on top of what Lovenox already does.

The good news: this is theoretical. It has not been proven in real people, only in lab dishes, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, with any anticoagulant I watch for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or pink urine. Don't start or stop either one on your own. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up before adding IP-6 so they can keep an eye on you.

It is most studied as an antioxidant and mineral binder, but human evidence for its popular uses—such as cancer prevention—is limited and not conclusive. What Is Enoxaparin Injection Used For?

Brand name: Lovenox

Enoxaparin injection is used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) — blood clots in the legs — in people having abdominal surgery, hip replacement surgery, or knee replacement surgery, and in hospitalized patients who are largely immobile due to acute illness. It is also used to treat acute DVT, with or without a pulmonary embolism (a clot in the lungs), both in the hospital and at home.

It is also used alongside aspirin to reduce dangerous complications of unstable angina and non-Q-wave heart attack, and to treat acute STEMI (a severe type of heart attack involving full blockage of a coronary artery) in patients who receive clot-dissolving therapy or undergo a procedure to open the blocked artery (PCI).
