Iloprost falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Ip-6 interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of IP-6 with drugs that affect platelet aggregation may increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro IP-6 can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been demonstrated in humans.

Here's the simple version. Iloprost (Ventavis) does more than relax your lung blood vessels, it also makes platelets a little less sticky, which can slightly raise bleeding risk on its own. IP-6 has been shown in lab dish studies to do something similar and block platelets from clumping together. So in theory, taking the two together might add up and make you bruise or bleed a bit more easily.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. This effect has only been seen in test tubes, never proven in real people, and it's rated unlikely to happen. Please don't change anything on your own. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a quick heads-up before adding IP-6, and watch for easy bruising or bleeding that won't stop.

Aurlumyn (iloprost injection, given intravenously) is approved to treat severe frostbite in adults, specifically to reduce the risk of losing fingers or toes (digit amputations). Its effectiveness was established in young, healthy adults who experienced frostbite at high altitudes.
