Chlorthalidone, Clonidine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Kiwi interacts with.

Clinical research suggests that consuming kiwi reduces systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive individuals. Theoretically, concomitant use of kiwi and antihypertensive drugs may increase the risk of hypotension when used in combination with drugs that lower blood pressure. These include captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), losartan (Cozaar), valsartan (Diovan), diltiazem (Cardizem), amlodipine (Norvasc), hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDiuril), furosemide (Lasix), and many others.

This combination pill pairs chlorthalidone (a water pill) with clonidine, and both already work to bring your blood pressure down. Kiwi has shown a small blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own in some studies, so the concern here is simply additive. If your readings drift too low, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or wobbly when you stand up quickly.

Honestly, this is a theoretical caution drawn from how these things work, not a strong real-world warning. Eating kiwi as a normal food is very unlikely to cause trouble for most people. If you load up on concentrated kiwi supplements, that's worth mentioning to your pharmacist or doctor. Don't change your medication on your own, and let them know if you feel faint.
