Here's the honest picture for flupenthixol (Fluanxol): the interaction on file isn't really about how your body handles this medicine. Flupenthixol is an antipsychotic that helps with mood and psychotic symptoms, and it isn't a prodrug that needs activating. The concern in our database comes from lab studies where lychee plant compounds (flavonoids) gently nudged the immune system, which is why it's flagged with immune-suppressing drugs.

Honestly, flupenthixol isn't an immunosuppressant in that sense, so this flag fits it loosely at best. The evidence is purely theoretical (test-tube only, never seen in people), so I wouldn't lose sleep over enjoying lychee fruit. Concentrated lychee extracts are less studied, so if you're considering those, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
