Methylsynephrine has cardiac stimulant effects. Theoretically, taking methylsynephrine with other stimulant drugs might increase the risk of hypertension and adverse cardiovascular effects.
Some stimulant drugs include amphetamine, caffeine, diethylpropion (Tenuate), methylphenidate, phentermine (Ionamin), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, others), and many others.

Here's the thing to know about this combo: the phenylephrine in Ricobid is itself a stimulant-type decongestant. It tightens blood vessels, which can nudge your blood pressure up and sometimes leave you feeling jittery or give you a pounding heart. Methylsynephrine works in a very similar way, acting like adrenaline. So you'd basically be stacking two stimulants on top of each other.

When you pile these effects together, the worry is higher blood pressure, a faster or racing heartbeat, headache, and feeling wired or anxious. To be fair, this warning is theoretical, based on how these ingredients act rather than firm studies. But methylsynephrine isn't an approved supplement and is best avoided anyway. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
