Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Apomorphine Hydrochloride
Apomorphine Hydrochloride falls under P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES — the group Rabdosia Rubescens interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for your Kynmobi (apomorphine). Rabdosia rubescens contains compounds that, in test-tube studies, appear to block a transporter pump called P-glycoprotein. This pump helps move certain drugs out of cells, so if it gets slowed down, those drugs can build up a bit and hit you harder. If apomorphine moves the same way, that could mean more of its usual effects, like nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, low blood pressure when you stand up, or even fainting.
But I want to keep this in perspective. This concern comes only from lab research, not from real people, so we honestly don't know how meaningful it is. Apomorphine already carries a strong risk of low blood pressure on its own, so play it safe and check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
