Rabdosia Rubescens + Flibanserin
Flibanserin brand name: Addyi.
Rabdosia Rubescens has a moderate interaction with Flibanserin. In vitro research shows that oridonin, a constituent of Rabdosia rubescens, induces cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) enzyme.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Flibanserin
Flibanserin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Rabdosia Rubescens interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version for Addyi (flibanserin): your body relies on an enzyme called CYP3A4 to break it down. Lab and animal studies hint that a compound in Rabdosia rubescens, called oridonin, may speed up that enzyme. If that holds true in people, your body could clear flibanserin a little faster, which might leave you with weaker effects and less benefit for the low desire it's meant to treat.
I want to be honest about the evidence though. This is only test-tube and animal research, and it hasn't actually been seen in humans, so the real-world risk is uncertain. Since flibanserin already has dosing and safety rules of its own, please run this combination by your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.
What These Ratings Mean
Every interaction above is graded three ways — here’s the key to each label.
Clinically significant. Avoid the combination, or use only under close professional supervision.
Usually worth avoiding or managing — may need monitoring, a dose change, or timing apart.
Generally not serious. Be aware of it and mention it to your pharmacist.
- LikelyWell-controlled human studies have demonstrated the likely existence of this interaction.
- ProbableInteraction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports.
- PossibleInteraction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
- UnlikelyInteraction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans.

“Flibanserin (Addyi) is a nightly pill for low sexual desire in premenopausal women, and because it is sedating and can lower blood pressure, its supplement list deserves genuine care; nine of the 199 entries rate major, and those are the ones to learn first.
