These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Rauwolscine interacts with whole categories of medication. Azatadine, Pseudoephedrine falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Rauwolscine in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS
1 of 2Why this applies to Azatadine, Pseudoephedrine
Azatadine, Pseudoephedrine falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
In animal research, intraperitoneal rauwolscine lowered the seizure threshold level of the drug metrazol.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Trinalin combines azatadine (an antihistamine) with pseudoephedrine (a decongestant and stimulant). Here's the concern with rauwolscine: both pseudoephedrine and rauwolscine are stimulants, and on top of that, rauwolscine has been shown in animal studies to make the brain a little more prone to seizures. The worry is that stacking two stimulating products together could, in theory, nudge the seizure threshold lower.
I want to be honest about how shaky this evidence is. It comes from animal research only, not from people, so the real-world risk is likely small. Still, you might notice more jitteriness, a racing heart, higher blood pressure, or trouble sleeping with both on board. If you have a seizure history or heart issues, check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

STIMULANT DRUGS
2 of 2Azatadine, Pseudoephedrine also falls under STIMULANT DRUGS.
Rauwolscine has demonstrated stimulant effects in animal research.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Trinalin is a combination product, and the part that matters here is the pseudoephedrine, which is a decongestant that works by stimulating your system. It can already nudge up your heart rate and blood pressure and leave some people feeling jittery or wired. Rauwolscine is itself a stimulant that may boost your body's natural norepinephrine, so the worry is that stacking the two could pile on those same effects.
In plain terms, taking them together might make you more likely to feel a racing or pounding heart, higher blood pressure, restlessness, anxiety, or trouble sleeping. I'll be honest though: this concern is based mostly on animal research, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, if you have any heart or blood pressure issues, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Azatadine, Pseudoephedrine page
“Trinalin pairs azatadine, an antihistamine, with pseudoephedrine, a decongestant that revs up the heart and raises blood pressure, and that stimulant half is why this list of 88 interacting supplements calls for real care.
