Here's the situation with Dicumarol, an older blood thinner that works a lot like warfarin. It's a narrow-margin medication, meaning small shifts in how thin your blood gets can tip you toward bleeding problems like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or blood in your urine or stool.

The concern with rauwolscine is that, like its cousin yohimbine, it may slightly reduce the ability of platelets to clump together. On its own that's a mild effect, but stacked on top of a drug already keeping your blood from clotting, it could add up and raise your bleeding risk. I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based mostly on lab studies, not real patient cases. Still, because Dicumarol leaves so little room for error, please run this past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements.
