Here's the gist with Epoetin Alfa (Procrit, Epogen) and rauwolscine. Epoetin is an injectable medicine that helps your body make more red blood cells, often used for anemia tied to kidney disease or chemotherapy. One known risk with epoetin is that it can occasionally lower the seizure threshold, meaning seizures become a bit more likely, especially if blood pressure climbs.

Rauwolscine is a stimulant that can also nudge the seizure threshold lower and push blood pressure up. So the worry is that stacking the two might add to that risk. Honestly, this concern comes only from animal lab work, so it's theoretical, not proven in people. Still, since both can raise blood pressure, I'd run it by your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
