STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Pseudoephedrine, Triprolidine
Pseudoephedrine, Triprolidine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
Rauwolscine has demonstrated stimulant effects in animal research.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: Actifed combines pseudoephedrine, a decongestant that already revs up your system, with triprolidine, an antihistamine. Pseudoephedrine works a lot like rauwolscine does, by boosting your body's own stimulant signals (norepinephrine). So stacking the two could pile stimulant on top of stimulant. The realistic concern is a faster heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, and anxiety. This matters most if you have heart issues or high blood pressure.
I want to be honest about the evidence, though: this is theoretical and based on animal research, not human studies. It's a sensible caution, not a red alert. If you take both, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Pseudoephedrine, Triprolidine page
“Ephedra is the interaction I would rule out first for anyone taking pseudoephedrine with triprolidine (Actifed, Triposed). Stacking a second stimulant on a decongestant that already raises blood pressure and heart rate invites real cardiovascular trouble, and that logic runs through most of this list, which deserves genuine care rather…”
