Amphetamine Sulfate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Shiitake Mushroom interacts with.

Theoretically, shiitake mushroom might decrease levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro studies suggest that the shiitake mushroom extract AHCC might induce the CYP2D6 enzyme. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for amphetamine. Your body partly clears this stimulant using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Lab studies hint that a concentrated shiitake extract (AHCC) might speed that enzyme up. If that happened in real life, your body could break amphetamine down a little faster, which could mean it doesn't work quite as well. You might notice less focus, less appetite suppression, or a shorter-lasting effect.

But I want to keep this in perspective. This idea comes only from test-tube research, not from people, so it's theoretical. Eating shiitake as food is very unlikely to matter here. If you're using a concentrated shiitake supplement, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up first.
