Here's the gist if you're using human insulin (like Myxredlin) and thinking about Solomon's Seal. The concern is mostly on paper for now. Some lab and animal work hints that the natural compounds in this root may have mild blood-sugar-lowering activity. If that holds true in people, adding it on top of your insulin could nudge your sugar down more than expected.

What that might feel like is a low: shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, hunger, or feeling foggy or lightheaded. Here's the gist: your insulin (Myxredlin) already does the heavy lifting of lowering your blood sugar. Some lab and animal work hints that Solomon's Seal might also nudge blood sugar down a little. If both push in the same direction, your sugar could dip lower than you expect, which is what we call hypoglycemia. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.
