Ketoconazole falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Testolone interacts with.

In a case report, a 52-year-old male was diagnosed with liver injury thought to be related to the use of products containing testolone. Also, elevated liver enzymes were commonly reported in a dose escalation study of testolone.

Here's the simple version: both of these can be tough on your liver, and putting them together may stack that risk. Oral ketoconazole is well known for occasionally causing liver injury, which is one reason doctors now reserve it for situations where other antifungals won't work. Testolone (RAD-140) has also been tied to liver problems, including a case of liver injury and rising liver enzymes in a study where people took higher doses.

This isn't about one canceling out the other. It's about two liver stressors at once. Warning signs to watch for include yellowing of your skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness. Honestly, testolone is an unapproved, illegally sold product I'd steer clear of. Please talk with your pharmacist or doctor before combining anything with ketoconazole.

What Is Ketoconazole Used For?

Brand name: Nizoral

Ketoconazole 2% shampoo and foam are used to treat tinea versicolor (also called pityriasis versicolor) — a fungal infection caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur), a yeast that naturally lives on the skin.

This infection creates light or dark patches, most often on the trunk, neck, arms, and upper thighs. Even after the fungus is cleared, those skin patches may take months to return to their normal color — that's normal, and depends on your skin type and sun exposure. Tinea versicolor can also come back, since the fungus lives on healthy skin even when there's no active infection.
