Mipomersen Sodium falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Testolone interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use might have additive hepatotoxic effects.
In a case report, a 52-year-old male was diagnosed with liver injury thought to be related to the use of products containing testolone. Also, elevated liver enzymes were commonly reported in a dose escalation study of testolone.

Here's the concern with these two together: both can be hard on your liver. Mipomersen (Kynamro) is already well known for raising liver enzymes and causing fat buildup in the liver, which is why people on it get regular blood tests to watch their liver. Testolone (RAD-140) has been tied to liver injury too, including a real case report and high liver enzymes seen in studies.

Stacking them could add up to more liver stress, with possible warning signs like fatigue, nausea, belly pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. This is partly theoretical, but the liver risk with each one is real. I'd strongly steer clear of testolone, which isn't an approved or safe product anyway, and talk with your doctor or pharmacist first.

About Mipomersen Injection

What Is Mipomersen Injection Used For?

Brand name: Kynamro

  • Mipomersen injection is used to decrease levels of cholesterol and other fatty substances in the blood in people who have homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH; a rare inherited condition that causes very high levels of cholesterol in the blood, increasing the risk of serious heart disease). Some people with HoFH may be treated with LDL apheresis (a procedure that removes LDL from the blood), but mipomersen injection should not be used along with this treatment. Mipomersen injection should not be used to decrease cholesterol levels in people who do not have HoFH. Mipomersen injection is in a class of medications called antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) inhibitors. It works by preventing certain fatty substances from forming in the body.
