Fluticasone Propionate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist: your body relies on an enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down fluticasone. In lab dish studies, a compound in thunder god vine (triptolide) appears to slow that enzyme down. If that happened in real life, fluticasone could build up a bit more than usual and hang around longer.

With fluticasone (in Flonase, Armonair, or Xhance), more drug exposure could mean a higher chance of steroid-type side effects. I want to be honest, though: this is theoretical, based only on test-tube work, and it has never actually been reported in people. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since thunder god vine needs careful medical supervision anyway, please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining the two.
