Conjugated Estrogens falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the basic idea with these two together. Your body uses a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help clear conjugated estrogens (like Premarin) out of your system. Thunder God Vine contains a compound called triptolide that, in test-tube studies, appears to slow that same enzyme down. If it does that in real life, your estrogen could hang around a bit longer and build up.

That extra estrogen could mean more of the usual estrogen-related effects, such as breast tenderness, bloating, nausea, headaches, or spotting. I want to be straight with you though: this is purely theoretical, based on lab work, and it has never actually been reported in people. Still, since Thunder God Vine can be toxic on its own, please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
