Ripretinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for Qinlock (ripretinib). Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break this cancer drug down. A compound in thunder god vine called triptolide has been shown to slow that same enzyme down, at least in lab dish studies. If it does the same thing in people, ripretinib could clear more slowly and build up in your system.

That theoretically means stronger drug effects and more side effects, things like fatigue, hair loss, muscle and joint pain, high blood pressure, or hand-foot skin reactions. I want to be honest though: this is only based on test-tube data and has never been reported in real patients. Still, with a cancer drug, don't gamble. Please run any thunder god vine use past your oncologist or pharmacist first.
