Anacaulase-bcdb falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tree Of Heaven interacts with.

Theoretically, tree of heaven extract might reduce platelet aggregation and increase the risk of bleeding if used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs. In vitro evidence shows that tree of heaven crude extract attenuates epinephrine and adenosine diphosphate-induced platelet aggregation. This interaction has not been seen in humans. Until more is known, use with caution in patients taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

Here's the lowdown on pairing Tree of Heaven with NexoBrid (anacaulase-bcdb). NexoBrid is a gel made from bromelain-based enzymes that doctors apply directly onto severe burns to dissolve and remove dead tissue (called eschar). Because it breaks down tissue in a wound bed, there is already some natural concern about minor bleeding or oozing where it's applied.

The worry on file is that Tree of Heaven extract might make blood platelets a little less sticky, which could theoretically add to bleeding risk. Honestly, this is based only on lab-dish studies, not real people, so it's a soft, theoretical concern. Still, since NexoBrid is used on open burns and is given in a hospital setting, please tell your burn team about any supplements you take so they can keep an eye on bleeding and healing.
