Phenprocoumon falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tree Of Heaven interacts with.

Theoretically, tree of heaven extract might reduce platelet aggregation and increase the risk of bleeding if used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs. In vitro evidence shows that tree of heaven crude extract attenuates epinephrine and adenosine diphosphate-induced platelet aggregation. This interaction has not been seen in humans. Until more is known, use with caution in patients taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

Phenprocoumon is a powerful blood thinner, similar to warfarin, and it has a narrow safety window. Small shifts in how your blood clots can tip you toward bleeding. The concern here is that Tree of Heaven, in lab studies, made platelets (the cells that help form clots) a little less sticky. If that effect carried over into people, stacking it on top of phenprocoumon could nudge your bleeding risk higher.

The honest part: this is only a theory from test-tube research, never confirmed in humans, so I'm not ringing alarm bells. Still, since phenprocoumon already needs careful monitoring, watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or unusual fatigue. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding this one, and don't change your phenprocoumon on your own.
