Your combo pill pairs chlorthalidone, a water pill, with clonidine for blood pressure. Here's the part worth knowing: chlorthalidone can flush extra potassium out of your body through your urine. Uzara root contains natural heart-acting compounds called cardiac glycosides, the same general family as digoxin. When potassium runs low, the heart becomes more sensitive to those compounds, which can raise the risk of toxic effects like an irregular or pounding heartbeat, nausea, or feeling dizzy and weak.

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these substances work, not on strong studies, so don't panic. Still, since Uzara already affects the heart and is meant only for short-term use, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
