What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Bio.Me Femme V against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Bio.Me Femme V contains 5 active ingredients, all probiotics (beneficial live bacteria). The blend includes L. crispatus, L. gasseri, L. plantarum, B. lactis, and L. rhamnosus — strains meant to support vaginal and digestive health.
The capsule also holds several inactive ingredients: maltodextrin, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, bamboo powder, and a cellulose-based capsule material.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for most of these strains is limited. L. crispatus is rated possibly effective for bacterial vaginosis, but for other conditions — UTIs, preterm labor, periodontitis, and HIV/AIDS — the evidence isn't reliable enough to rate it.
L. gasseri similarly shows insufficient evidence for hay fever, asthma, diarrhea, common cold, bacterial vaginosis, and aspirin-related stomach damage. For the other three strains (L. plantarum, B. lactis, and L. rhamnosus), we hold no effectiveness data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy adults, though the safety research is limited. L. crispatus has rarely caused nausea, gas, flatulence, or mild tongue and throat swelling in clinical trials.
Both L. crispatus and L. gasseri are live microorganisms, and there's a theoretical concern they could cause serious infections (such as bacteremia or sepsis) in certain patients — though this is thought to happen mainly when bacteria from other body sites get into the bloodstream. For pregnancy and breastfeeding, there isn't enough data to say whether this product is safe; talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using it if you're pregnant or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take antibiotic drugs, separate them from this product — taking them together can kill off the live bacteria and make the probiotic less effective. Your pharmacist can help you time them right.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Bio.Me Femme V is a vaginal probiotic blend with some evidence backing L. crispatus for bacterial vaginosis, though most other uses lack solid proof. If you take antibiotics, you'll need to space them apart from this product.
