Floratrex 25 Billion CFU Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Floratrex 25 Billion CFU against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

What’s inside
Low disclosure
Floratrex contains 25 active probiotic ingredients—live beneficial bacteria and fungi meant to support your gut flora—plus fulvic acid, a compound derived from organic matter, and organic inulin, a type of fiber that feeds beneficial bacteria. The inactive ingredients are organic gum acacia (a binder) and a vegetarian capsule.
The probiotic strains include well-known types like Lactobacillus acidophilus, several Bifidobacterium species, Bacillus coagulans, and others. Fulvic acid is included for its purported health effects, and inulin serves as a prebiotic—food for the live probiotics to help them thrive in your gut.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Evidence for most of these probiotics is limited. Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Helicobacter pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis, but not for atopic disease (eczema, allergies).
Bacillus coagulans is possibly effective for constipation and IBS. Bifidobacterium bifidum is possibly effective for IBS and respiratory tract infections.
Bacillus subtilis is possibly effective for antibiotic-associated diarrhea. Inulin is possibly effective for obesity, constipation, and diabetes.
For many of the other probiotic strains and for fulvic acid, the evidence in our data is insufficient—we simply don't have enough reliable research to say whether they work. The product's overall benefit depends on which condition you're hoping to address and which ingredient it relies on.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy adults and children, though they occasionally cause mild gastrointestinal side effects like bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, or constipation—especially when first starting them. Because these are live organisms, there's a theoretical risk of infection (bacteremia or sepsis) in people with very weakened immune systems, central venous catheters, or serious underlying illness; healthy people with intact immunity have a much lower risk.
Fulvic acid appears well tolerated in short-term use, though high-quality human safety data is limited. Its common side effects are diarrhea, headache, and sore throat.
Inulin often causes gas and bloating, especially at higher doses. Fulvic acid is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.
For most probiotic ingredients and inulin, pregnancy and lactation safety data are limited—talk with your doctor or pharmacist about use during these times.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist to check whether you use antibiotics (the live probiotics may be killed by them—spacing doses helps), blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (fulvic acid may reduce their effectiveness), thyroid hormone (fulvic acid may interfere with it), diabetes medications (inulin and probiotics may theoretically increase low blood sugar risk), or immunosuppressive drugs (fulvic acid may reduce their effect). If you take any of these, a conversation with your own healthcare provider is important to make sure this product fits your regimen safely.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Floratrex is a 25-strain probiotic blend that may help with a few specific conditions—IBS and constipation are among the better-supported uses—but evidence for many of its ingredients is still emerging. If you take antibiotics, blood thinners, thyroid hormone, diabetes drugs, or immune-suppressing medications, check your exact prescriptions with the tool on this page before starting, and ask your doctor or pharmacist whether the timing or choice of product makes sense for you.
Anyone with a severely weakened immune system should confirm it's appropriate with their healthcare provider first.

Floratrex 25 Billion CFU by Global Healing Center Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Floratrex 25 Billion CFU from Global Healing Center interacts with medications through its probiotic and fulvic acid content.
The most serious interaction is fulvic acid's potential to interfere with blood thinners (anticoagulants) and blood clotting drugs—in laboratory studies, it shortened clotting time, which could reduce how well these medications work to prevent clots.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Several probiotic ingredients in this product—Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. delbrueckii (bulgaricus), Bifidobacterium longum, Bacillus coagulans, B. breve, B. bifidum, Bacillus subtilis, L. gasseri, and inulin—interact with antibiotics. All these interactions are Moderate in severity: because probiotics are live organisms, taking them at the same time as antibiotics may kill enough of them to reduce their effectiveness.
Spacing out the doses can help prevent this.
Fulvic acid also has Moderate interactions with drugs that suppress the immune system (immunosuppressants)—animal data suggest fulvic acid stimulates immunity, which could counteract these medications—and with thyroid hormone therapy, which may interfere with the ability to get your thyroid levels stable.
Inulin (organic inulin) carries a Minor interaction with diabetes medications, as it may theoretically increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). We could not check Lactobacillus paracasei, L. fermentum, L. rhamnosus, Lactococcus lactis, L. salivarius, L. plantarum, L. casei, L. reuteri, Bacillus clausii, L. brevis, Enterococcus faecium, and Bifidobacterium infantis lactis.
Altogether, these interactions span 523 individual medications. Use the medication checker on this page to see if any of your specific drugs are affected.
