Calcium
Calcium is a vital nutrient found in various foods such as dairy products, certain vegetables, and many fortified items. Over 99% of the body's calcium is stored in the bones and teeth, predominantly as hydroxyapatite. The remaining calcium circulates in the blood, extracellular fluid, muscles, and other tissues, where it is essential for processes like nerve signaling, muscle contraction, vascular activities, glandular secretion, and maintaining cell membrane and capillary permeability. It also plays critical roles in enzyme reactions, respiration, kidney function, and blood clotting, and is involved in neurotransmitter and hormone release, amino acid uptake, vitamin B12 absorption, and gastrin secretion. Calcium balance changes with age: it is positive during periods of growth, stable in adulthood, and tends to become negative in older age. Calcium loss occurs through feces, urine, sweat, and shedding skin cells. In women, reduced estrogen levels decrease calcium absorption and retention, increase bone turnover, and lead to lower bone mass. Calcium supplements come in various forms, including citrate and carbonate, which differ mainly in their calcium content and absorption rates. Calcium citrate is easily absorbed and can be taken without food, making it suitable for older adults or those with low stomach acid. In contrast, calcium carbonate, which contains a higher percentage of calcium, is best absorbed when taken with meals.

- Lean Complex 8 is produced using the highest quality ingredients and formulated with a proprietary time-release formula that allow both dieters and the bodybuilders to maximize their results-reducing body fat and building lean muscle mass.
- Lean Complex 8 uses Whey with the highest protein content called WPC 80, which contains 80-82% protein and WPI, which has 90 to 92% protein. These protein concentrates are low lactose, low carb, low fat and are the purest and most effective concentrates available.
It's this high quality whey in Lean Complex 8 combined with Egg Albumin that gives its successful "time release" formula.

- We specifically added potassium caseinate because of its slow-acting properties that increases amino acid levels that build hard muscle tissue, giving users the maximum benefit from each dosage.
- Building on the advanced time released protein blend established with the original Lean Complex, the newest generation ads 4 more protein species for a proprietary time-release formula that allows both dieters and the bodybuilders to maximize their results-reducing body fat and build lean muscle mass.

General Statements |
- Why is a staggered time release so important? Remember it is not how much protein one takes in but how much the body absorbs. The more protein your body absorbs over a longer period of time, the more calories your body burns. To further facilitate protein absorption, a digestive enzyme panel has been added. By spreading our absorption over multiple hours as opposed to over a limited time of only one hour, Lean Complex 8 enables a steady and gradual weight loss.
- Thus Lean Complex 8's formula is a perfect supplement to a weight control regimen. As a total workout recovery program, longer protein absorption aids in the growth of lean muscle tissue.
- Only formulas with staggered time-release features like Lean Complex 8 allow your body to attain maximum absorption or proteins. You get what you pay for-accept only the best when it comes to your body. By using Lean Complex 8, your body will know the difference; your friends will see the difference.
- JEM guarantees the potency and freshness of this product. JEM products are formulated utilizing sound nutritional science in the field of strength and conditioning performance. All ingredients are of the highest quality.
- Lean Complex 8 is the latest evolution of the Lean Complex formula.
- JEM State-of-the-Art-Nutrition
- Don't be fooled. not all Whey-based products are the same. Whey protein concentrate (WPC) is graded by the government according to its protein content (usdec.org). Even some of the top-named brands use wweet whey, which only has 11-14% protein or WHP 30, which has only 30%. These products will give you an instant sugar high with a limited time frame of protein absorption because they have a high concentrate of lactose. They will not help you achieve your goal of long-term weight control or build lean muscle mass.
- The most effective time release formula on the market
Sustained time release maximizes protein absorption for effective workout recovery
Low carb formula helps suppresses hunger to facilitate weight reduction
Available in four delicious flavors Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry & Banana
