Bivalirudin falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Aconite interacts with.

Theoretically, combining aconite with other antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.
Higenamine, a constituent of aconite, is thought to have antiplatelet and antithrombotic effects. In an animal model of thrombosis, higenamine inhibited platelet aggregation and reduced the size of thrombus formation.

Bivalirudin is a powerful blood thinner given through an IV, usually in the hospital during heart procedures like angioplasty. It directly blocks thrombin, a key player in clot formation, so its whole job is to keep your blood from clotting easily.

Aconite contains a compound called higenamine that, in lab and animal studies, seemed to slow platelets and reduce clotting on its own. The worry here is simple: stacking that effect on top of bivalirudin could in theory add up to more bleeding or bruising. Keep in mind this is only a theoretical concern based on animal data, not human studies. Honestly though, aconite is genuinely toxic and isn't safe to take regardless. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using any product containing it.
