Iloprost falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Aconite interacts with.

Theoretically, combining aconite with other antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.
Higenamine, a constituent of aconite, is thought to have antiplatelet and antithrombotic effects. In an animal model of thrombosis, higenamine inhibited platelet aggregation and reduced the size of thrombus formation.

Here's the connection worth knowing about. Iloprost (Ventavis) does more than relax your lung blood vessels, it also makes platelets a little less sticky, so it has a mild blood-thinning side. Aconite contains a compound called higenamine that, at least in lab and animal studies, seems to slow platelets down too. Stack the two and you could, in theory, see easier bruising or bleeding, like nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that take longer to stop.

I'll be honest with you though: this is theoretical and based only on animal data, so it's not a proven problem in people. The bigger worry here is aconite itself, which is genuinely poisonous and something I'd steer clear of. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before mixing anything with your Iloprost.

Aurlumyn (iloprost injection, given intravenously) is approved to treat severe frostbite in adults, specifically to reduce the risk of losing fingers or toes (digit amputations). Its effectiveness was established in young, healthy adults who experienced frostbite at high altitudes.
