Aspirin, Oxycodone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Adrue interacts with.

Animal research suggests that taking adrue in combination with sodium thiopental or diazepam increases total sleep time up to four-fold compared to the effects of the drugs alone. Theoretically, concomitant use of adrue with CNS depressants might cause additive sedation. Some CNS depressants include benzodiazepines, such as diazepam (Valium), alprazolam (Xanax), triazolam (Halcion), and estazolam (ProSom); barbiturates, such as mephobarbital (Mebaral), phenobarbital (Luminal Sodium), and pentobarbital sodium (Nembutal); zolpidem (Ambien); and others.

The piece of Percodan that matters here is the oxycodone, an opioid pain reliever that already slows down your brain and breathing. Adrue has been studied mostly in animals, where it seemed to deepen and lengthen sleep when paired with sedating drugs. Putting the two together could, in theory, pile on that calming effect.

What that might look like in real life is more drowsiness, dizziness, foggy thinking, or slowed breathing than you'd expect from the oxycodone alone. The aspirin part isn't the concern with this interaction. Keep in mind this is based on lab and animal work, not solid human studies, so the real risk in people isn't well measured. Still, since both can be sedating, it's worth running it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
