Here's the short version: Linagliptin (Tradjenta) already works to lower your blood sugar, and agmatine might nudge your sugar down a little more on top of it. The concern is that the two together could push you closer to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), with signs like shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, dizziness, or feeling confused or hungry.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. The blood-sugar effect of agmatine comes mainly from lab and animal studies, not solid human research, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, if you'd like to try agmatine, check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep an eye on your glucose readings when you start.
