Naproxen, Sumatriptan falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Aloe interacts with.

Theoretically, aloe gel might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research shows that aloe gel can inhibit platelet aggregation. This inhibition was greater than that seen with celecoxib, but less than that seen with aspirin.

Treximet combines two medicines: naproxen (an NSAID) plus sumatriptan (a migraine medicine). The piece that matters here is naproxen. Like other anti-inflammatory pain relievers, naproxen can already irritate the stomach lining and make it a little easier to bleed or bruise. Some lab studies suggest aloe taken by mouth might slightly slow down how platelets clump together to form clots, so in theory, pairing the two could add up to a bit more bleeding risk.

I want to be honest, though: this concern comes only from test-tube research, not real patients, so it's quite soft evidence. Skin aloe isn't an issue. If you take aloe gel by mouth regularly, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor, and watch for unusual bruising, nosebleeds, or dark stools.

Theoretically, aloe might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that aloe extract induces CYP1A2 enzymes.

Treximet combines naproxen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) with sumatriptan (a migraine medicine). The idea here is that aloe taken by mouth might speed up a liver enzyme called CYP1A2, which could in theory clear this medication a little faster and make it work slightly less well for your migraine or pain. In real life, though, this is a very weak, theoretical concern. It comes only from lab and test-tube studies, not from people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

A bit of aloe gel on your skin is no issue at all. If you regularly take aloe by mouth (juice, capsules, or the latex laxative), just mention it to your pharmacist so we can keep an eye on how well your Treximet is working.
