Here's the gist for phensuximide (Milontin), a medication used to control absence (petit mal) seizures. Andiroba oil carries plant compounds that, in lab and animal studies, seem to gently nudge the brain's GABA-A calming system. Phensuximide can already cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, and stomach upset, so the theoretical worry is that pairing the two might add to that sedated, foggy feeling.

I want to be honest though: this concern comes only from animal and test-tube research, not real people, so it's flagged as minor and unlikely. Using andiroba on your skin as an oil is very different from swallowing a concentrated dose. Still, before adding any andiroba product, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor.
