Pentobarbital falls under Anticonvulsants — the group Andiroba interacts with.

Andiroba contains fatty acid amides that have shown potential anticonvulsant effects in animal studies. These compounds are believed to act as agonists at gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-A receptors, similar to some anticonvulsant medications. Here's the gist with Pentobarbital (Nembutal), which is a barbiturate that calms the brain by boosting GABA, your body's main "slow down" signal. Some lab and animal work hints that compounds in andiroba may also nudge those same GABA-A receptors. In theory, layering the two could add up, leaving you more sedated than expected. With a strong sedative like pentobarbital, that might mean extra drowsiness, dizziness, slowed breathing, or feeling foggy and unsteady.

That said, this is a very shaky, theoretical concern based only on animal studies, not real cases in people. Andiroba is also used mostly on the skin, where little gets into your system. Still, since pentobarbital is a powerful drug, please run any internal andiroba use past your pharmacist or doctor first.
