Here's the gist for sodium valproate (Epilim): andiroba seeds contain compounds that, in animal and lab studies, seem to gently nudge the same calming GABA pathways your valproate works on. In theory, stacking the two could add up and make valproate's effects a little stronger, which might mean more drowsiness, dizziness, unsteadiness, or feeling foggy.

I want to be honest, though, this is a very weak, theoretical concern. We don't have human data, the effect is rated minor and unlikely, and andiroba is mostly used on the skin, where very little gets into your system. If you're only using it topically, it's probably a non-issue. Before taking it internally, please check with your doctor or pharmacist, since valproate is a medication where steady levels matter.
