Hydrochlorothiazide, Propranolol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Atractylodes interacts with.

Theoretically, atractylodes might decrease the levels of CYP1A2 substrates.
In animals, atractylodes administered at high doses has been shown to induce CYP1A2 activity. This effect has not been shown in humans.

Here's the gist for your Inderide, which combines propranolol (a beta-blocker) with hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill). The propranolol half is partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. In animal studies given high doses, atractylodes seemed to speed that enzyme up. If that happened in people, it could clear propranolol a bit faster and make it work less well, meaning your blood pressure or heart rate might not be controlled as tightly.

But honestly, this is only a theoretical concern. It has only been seen in lab and animal research at high doses, never confirmed in humans, and it's rated minor. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since blood pressure matters, mention any new supplement to your pharmacist or doctor and keep an eye on your readings.
