Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) + Fluticasone Proprionate, Salmeterol
Fluticasone Proprionate, Salmeterol brand name: Airduo Respiclick.
Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) has a moderate interaction with Fluticasone Proprionate, Salmeterol. Theoretically, BMPEA might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Fluticasone Proprionate, Salmeterol
Fluticasone Proprionate, Salmeterol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA inhibits CYP3A4 by up to 37%.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Your AirDuo inhaler combines two medicines: fluticasone (a steroid) and salmeterol (a long-acting airway opener). Both are partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab studies, BMPEA appears to slow that enzyme down a bit, which could let these medicines build up higher than usual in your body.
If that happened, you might notice more salmeterol-type effects like a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, or tremor, and possibly more steroid exposure over time. Keep in mind BMPEA is itself a stimulant similar to amphetamine and can raise heart rate and blood pressure on its own, so the two together could stack up. Honestly, BMPEA isn't a well-studied or approved ingredient, and this interaction is only theoretical. I'd steer clear of it and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Fluticasone Proprionate, Salmeterol page
“Airduo Respiclick pairs fluticasone propionate with salmeterol to control asthma, and salmeterol is the half that makes supplement choices matter. It is cleared by the CYP3A4 enzyme and can affect heart rhythm when its levels climb, and seven of the 144 interacting ingredients carry a major rating, enough that I read this page as a gen…”

About Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)
What is Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)?
- Weight loss
- Pre-workout energy
- Athletic performance
- Appetite suppression
- Mental focus
Beta-methylphenethylamine (BMPEA) is a synthetic stimulant chemically similar to amphetamine that has been found in some weight-loss and sports supplements, often without being clearly listed on the label. It is not an approved or well-studied dietary ingredient, and regulators have warned that it may carry real cardiovascular risks. Because of safety concerns and the lack of human research, it is best avoided.
